Houston Juneteenth Urban Takeover is a 3-day, 4-event weekend celebration in Houston, Texas, from June 20th to June 22nd, 2025. This marks our 4th Annual event featuring fantastic music, live DJs, delicious food, special guests, and more! We invite you to join us in honoring the historic Juneteenth weekend, which commemorates the emancipation of enslaved Aboriginals in America. This monumental event is open to everyone, fostering a community where equality, human rights, and justice for all converge to shape a better future for the coming generations. Our dedication to nurturing a community filled with safety and love remains a core part of our identity.

Our Official 4-Star Luxury Host Hotel will be at Hilton Houston Westchase -9999 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77042. Rates Start at $109 a Night for single or double rooms. A holiday celebrated on June 19th to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, enslaved people were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.
